3.principle
1）（figure1）synchronousmotorrotateswithstablerate,connectscaledisk,throughhairspringandrotatingshaft,drivesrotorstorotate.therotorswillsubjecttoatorquemomentproportionaltoliquidviscositybecauseoftheliquidviscosehysteresis.thetorquemomentwillbemeasuredbythesensorsandprocessedintotheviscosityandshownonthedisplay.
2）ratecanbechangedbyusinggearsystemandclutch,operatedbyrotaryknob,fouroptionalvelocity.

installation
1.takeoutthebracket,package,stanchionandsoonfromthepackaging.
2.screwthecolumntothethreadedholebehindthebracket,andputthetoothprofilesurfaceinthecolumnfacingfrontthebracket.screwthehexnuttightbywrenchtopreventthecolumnrunning.
3.rotationalmovetheliftingchuckknobtochecktheflexibilityandself-lookingofliftingchuck.foundtheliftingchucktooloosenandtootightphenomenon,canbeusedhexnutwrenchtoadjustthetightscrew.sothatitcanliftfromtoptobottom.anditissuitablefortighttopreventthesituationofautomaticallyfallingafterinstallingtheviscometer.
4.takeoutviscometerformpackageandmountitontheliftingcollet，tightitbyhandlesetscrewtoavoidloosen（aslevelaspossible）,linkthepowersupply,takeawaytherubberbandonthepointerjoystick,screwthenutofprotecting-caploosenundertheinstrument,takeawaytheprotecting-cap.5.adjusttheadjustmentscrewandputtherotorintotheliquidtobemeasuredtillthelevelmarkontherotorreachtheliquidsurface.operationprocedures1.preparetheliquidtobemeasuredandputitintoaglassbeakerorarightanglecontainerwiththediameternotsmallerthan70mm,heightnotsmallerthan130mm,takecareoftheliquidtemperature.
2.mounttheprotectionbracketoninstrument,turningrightformounting,turningleftforremoving.
3.screwtheselectedrotorintoconnectingrod,turningrightformounting,turningleftforremoving,adjusttheliftingscrewandputtherotorintotheliquidtobemeasuredtillthelevelmarkontherotorreachtheliquidsurface.connectpowersupply,turnontheequipment,screwthespeedknob,selectvelocity,relaxpointerjoystick,readingdatacanbedisplayed（about20~30seconds）whenthepointerbecomesstable.pressthepointerjoystickafterpointerbecomingstable,cutpowersupply,thengetthereadingdata.ifthepointerisn’tinreadingwindowaftermotorstop,youcanpresspointerjoystickunceasingly,openorclosethemotortimeaftertime,afterpractice,youcanoperateitfamiliarly.
4.whenthereadingdataistoohighortoolow,therotorortheratecanbechanged,makesurethereadingisbetween20and80.
5.choiceofrange,coefficient,rotorandrate:
5.1estimateapproximaytheviscoserange,thenselecttherotorandthevelocitybasedontherangetablegivenbelow:

5.2iftheviscosityofliquidcannotbeestimated,itshouldtakeahighvalueforrealmeasurement,therotorselectionshouldbemadefromsmallertolargerwiththeirnumberfromhighertolower.ingeneral,highviscosityshouldusesmallerrotorwithslowervelocity,lowerviscosityuselagerrotorwithfastervelocity.
5.3coefficient:thereadingmustbemultipliedthespecificcoefficientinthecoefficienttableinordertogettheabsoluteviscosity.

10.unauthorizedremovingorreplacingtheinstrumentpart,andapplyinglubricatesarenotallowable.
11.whenmovingorshippinginstrument,putontheyellowcavercapandlifttheconnectingboltrodandscrewtheboltonthecaptightly.
12.suspension,emulsionorpolymerandotherhighviscosityliquidsarenon-newtonliquids,theirviscositywillchangewithshearvelocityandtime,itisnormalfortheirmeasuredinconsistentresultsundertheselectedrotorandvelocityandtime,anditisnotresultedfromtheinstrumentproblems（ingeneral,therotorandvelocityandtimeshouldbespecifiedfornon-newtonliquids）.
13.thecautionsshouldbetakenforfollowingstoobtainagoodmeasuringreault:
