水中通常存在的細菌大致可分為三類：第一類是天然水中存在的細菌。普通的是熒光假單孢桿菌、綠膿桿菌，一般認為這類細菌對健康人體是非致病的。第二類是土壤細菌。當(dāng)洪水時期或大雨后地表水中較多。它們在水中生存的時間不長，在水處理過程中容易被去除。腐蝕水管的鐵細菌和硫細菌也屬此類。最后一類是腸道細菌。它們生存在溫血動物的腸道中，故糞便中大量存在。水體中發(fā)現(xiàn)這類細菌，可以認為已受到糞便的污染。致病性腸道細菌有沙門氏桿菌(傷寒和副傷寒菌)、志賀氏菌(痢疾菌)和霍亂弧菌等。
bacteria commonly found in water can be roughly divided into three categories: the first category is bacteria in natural water. common are pseudomonas fluorescens and pseudomonas aeruginosa, which are generally considered to be non pathogenic to healthy human beings. the second category is soil bacteria. there is more surface water during flood or after heavy rain. they do not exist in water for a long time and are easy to be removed in the process of water treatment. iron bacteria and sulfur bacteria that corrode water pipes also belong to this category. the last category is intestinal bacteria. they live in the intestines of warm blooded animals, so they are abundant in feces. if such bacteria are found in the water body, it can be considered that they have been polluted by feces. pathogenic intestinal bacteria include salmonella (typhoid and paratyphoid), shigella (dysentery) and vibrio cholerae.
